Kawaski "KCentric" Nelson Signs On As A Composer with Dubose Music Group
Montgomery, Alabama - June 22, 2010 -- Multimedia aficionado, and Montgomery, Alabama native, Kawaski "KCentric" Nelson, recently signed on as a composer with the Los Angeles-based music entity Dubose Music Group, a division of Dubose Entertainment.
Dubose Entertainment is the television production company behind the successful BET (Black Entertainment Television) reality shows Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, Monica: Still Standing, Trey Songz: My Moment, and the number one prime-time show on the BET network, Tiny and Toya.
Kawaski was handpicked by DMG's Executive Vice President Lana Moorer. She happens to be the Grammy-nominated hip-hop music legend many know as MC Lyte. He states that working with Lyte is an incredible honor. "It is a tremendous blessing to work with someone who has experienced such longevity in the entertainment industry."
Some of his recent music has been placed on Tiny and Toya. Kawaski is currently working on a range of television projects that Dubose Entertainment will produce in the upcoming months.
Kawaski is no stranger to the television industry. He has worked behind the scenes in TV production for many years. He has produced, shot, and edited video for a variety of television programs. He recently completed work on a commemorative DVD project for an episode of the popular ABC show Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition.
In addition to his television work, his music has been featured on an assortment of programs on HBO, Discovery, A&E, VH-1, Travel Channel, TV Land, PBS, and MTV, just to name a few.
On the recording side, he has worked with platinum hip-hop music producer Rick Rock and has collaborated on two international albums with legendary Turkish composer Murat Ses and others.
He licenses his own music as KCentric and produces original audio content for free and paid online distribution sources like ccMixter, iTunes, Amazon, Limewire, emusic, and Rhapsody.
